I agree that we will see an increase in the crime rate long before we see any signs of a revolution.

Does anyone remember the Veteran's march on Washington during the last depression? There will be civil unrest. When thing become very bad people will begin to see thing they never imagined.

IF deer are being killed for dinner, not to sale or just to let lay, I think that is fine. IF it really is to feed your kids, I will hold the light for you.

If unemployment does go that high, the economy will get to the crisis stage because only 35% are eligible for unemployment and almost half of our population lives paycheck to paycheck. If local and state governments continue to cut social services and credit card limits are cut, many Americans are going to become homeless and desparate.

How will the rapidly falling economy and huge unemployment effect our social structure and do you expect massive social unrest?
If unemployment got that high, the US would turn into a capitalist-socialist model where you would see the government creating jobs by massive public works projects like FDR did with the WPA. You would see trillions being spent on things like highways, railroads, transit systems, dams, power stations, government office buildings.

True but if the government official rate was 15%, the real rate would be close to 25%.

Instead we see billions being given to banks and insurance companies and soon car companies.

The victims were this company's CEO, VP and an unidentified person. Based on readers' comments, there weren't a lot of sympathy for them (the CEO and VP).

As an fellow engineer, I have to respect the quality of his primary target selection methods.

Dunno about the woman, not described -- hopefully not an innocent caught in the crossfire.

I always am dismayed with the guys that take it out on the co-workers, wife, kids and the dog.
