that was well done!
i am watching the bailout hearings with both sides saying that the bailout isn't working. i don't want to hear anything from the representatives who voted for it and now saying they were "tricked".

I will see the vid when I get home. Here is what I think of bailouts.
Say there is an orphanage(American citizens).
Say we want to help these children.
What do the bailouts do? Something like:
"We should buy a Mercedes for the administrator because of the safety features of the car. Protect the administrator, protect the children. "
"OK I guess that makes sense... But the the children need to eat breakfast."
"There is a source for oat meal near by. So give money to the factory so they stay open."
"Why is this?"
"So when someone comes to buy the oatmeal it will be there."
" What will they buy it with?"
"Loans."
"What if the children are not approved for a loan?"
"Banks are in business to loans so they should loan?"
"To who".
"People with money".
"Like the Administrator?"
"Yes, thats the ticket."
"So the administrator will buy the oatmeal then"?
"No."
"Why not"?
"Because they don't have bowls".
"Why not buy bowls then?"
"Because its for the oatmeal less administrative fees" .
"Should we give money to the bowl factory?"
"Yes"
"To make the bowls?"
"No. To stay open for anyone who wants to borrow money to buy bowls".
"Can the children buy their own bowls?"
"No, it must be done though the administrative channels, they will buy the bowls less the administrative fees".
"Who will make the bowls and the oatmeal?"
"The orphans of course, we don't need any lazy orphans".
"Will they have breakfast then?"
"No, we foreclosed on their spoons."
"Can we get them back?"
"They are mixed in with a bunch of sharp knives, You will have to come up with funding to have people sort them out."
"Will they have the spoons then".
"No, the spoons will be available on credit. We will offer cheap credit to the fiscally responsible administrator so he can rent them out to the orphans".
