Default Will you vote next time for the same Senator if he votes to bail out the big 3?

I was just wondering about this bailing out of companies. The banks were bailed out and they bought a bank in China instead of using the money to help in the USA.

According to a couple of smart people, bankruptcy would be the way to go for the big 3 and go from there instead of wasting the money now and filing for bakruptcy in a month.

I would be very upset if the Senator of Fl would be in favor of this bailout...

I was already digusted with my Senators when they voted for the bailout on Wall Street and I'll be even more disgusted if they vote for the bailout of "The Big Three" [more like Big Joke]. Knowing them, they will probably vote for it. I didn't vote for them last time and I plan to do the same thing next time around.

They'll pass it. It makes them feel good to "save all those autoworkers' jobs".

Disgusting.

OUR children's and grandchildren's tax dollars at work.

My Senator is Richard Shelby. He says No Bailout.

I suppose part of that might have to do with the fact that six automobile manufacturing plants are either in Alabama or within 20 miles of its borders, but I also think that it has as much to do with the fact that American automotive manufacturers have operated in an incredibly stupid fashion for years. How will government money make them any smarter?

I agree with Donald Trump that they should file Chapt 11 to help them deal with 25 years of inherited debt and move on from there. They apparently also have an additional "dip" fund of several million dollars available to them if they file Chapt 11.

Here's the video if anyone wants to see it. It was the first time that I understood the whole Auto Bail Out and what actually happened:

I work for the Tribune Company who he also mentioned. They filed for Chapt 11 this week for the same reasons. (They also own the Chicago Cubs and lots of other properties.) His explanation helped me a lot when I was feeling a little in a panic.
