MLM scam; Beverly Sassoon cosmetics (small business, buying, companies, make money)

Just quick info for anyone thinking MLM /distributorships will have them rolling in money-

Get a lawyer or have someone look at the contract before signing. Alot of these groups are scams.

I seriously wish people would stop buying into MLM's. It is just so inconceivable, but now people are suckered into them actually being told "well you're in the first 2k or so buyers so you're going to be one of the people that actually can make money"... *sigh*

I know of both family and friends that have bought into several different companies with this type of structure. There is one thing in common with them all (aside from the initial enthusiasm they all express)... none of them made back what they put in it.

If you are looking to start up a small business... then do yourself a huge favor and consider the first real step to be taking financial responsibility. Actually save up enough money to start a real business which provides a real product or service that people really need.

They prey on peoples need to make money. The problem is, they may have a great presentation, etc- but that's all it is. Sassoon was selling Oxygen .3 oz at 60.00 a bottle- and people were buying it-then got ripped off by UPS fees and hidden "distributorship" costs. It was snake-oil. lol.
