your not allowed food trucks on the oil fields I already thought of that but what they need is a restaurant you can go eat at and not get sick at . Or a deli / bakery I was trying to get a grant when I lived there I just moved 2 weeks ago . there's no good bakery's but the food stores and they suck I wanted to see a bag breakfast and lunch and dinner that was good and plenty but priced right not to rip them off . then a deli shop better than the store one with homemade salads and subs and different cheeses and meats . bakery I wanted to sell desserts like cream cheese cake from scratch different cakes and cookies . and treats and change it around weekly or two weeks . with a little sit down place to eat and relax and a drive up window for the oil guys . Talking to townspeople I think it would go over big

It's too late to buy real estate for rentals. Prices are inflated and once the wells and infrastructure are all in, most of the workers will move on.

There are a bunch of men away from their families. I would think that a good clean sports bar with decent food, comfortable chairs, and some good big screen TV's where the older men with families far away could sit and relax, enjoy some football, get a home cooked quality meal, and not get too wild.

They work hard. They are tired. But aim for the mature married work as a customer and not the single 20-year-olds whose idea of fun is throw a chair through the bar mirror.

Or, I could sell you a dandy big dump truck if you want to work for the gas company and have an investment that you could drive out of there when the boom was over.

Even after those people move on, there will still be a new oil industry place right? They will still be pumping out the oil, and refining it correct? Could Williston grow into a Calgary, or Edmonton?

If so there is still good opportunity for years to come. I am pretty sure, you cant buy any real estate. But I am curious, are these farmers leasing out land? If so, what and who is building what on it besides the oil companies that is?

Is the town itself expanding, or is it being hemmed in by the oil rig, and all the growth will grow up around an empty plot of land?
