Any suggestion for a small office printer. I need a color laser printer in the $600 range. Will be use to print letters, flyers, brochures, etc to mail to prospects and clients. No matter what I looked at, there seems to be some kind of issue...considering my price range. Too slow, poor picture printing, toner too expensive, etc.. Any idea what I should be looking at?
My old Oki C5100N works fine for that type of printing. It has glossy "hot"colors and isn't great for photo printing but shines for brochures with impact, especially with the better quality papers. Had a huge old Lexmark network color laser before that which did great color matte finish but just eventually got old and failed. Mailing flyers and brochures is so 1990s though. The last tri-folds I sent out were probably back in 2005. Even my invoices are PDF files. At a real cost of well over a buck a pop to send a snail mail invoice my printers only get used rarely anymore.
