Now I'm checking and my competitor is #1 and I'm all the way on the 6th page. Before, my competitors was never listed on any of the pages.

I'm not that familiar with SEO. So I'm wondering if this is foul play? or perhaps I should just invest more in SEO.

What do you think?

Let's pretend your website is a building that you built from the ground up. The day you moved in, it's shiny and new. But if you don't perform landscaping every once in a while, if you don't paint, if you don't replace worn-out carpets, etc. etc., that building is going to eventually start looking run-down, no matter how much pride you had in it when it was first completed.

This is pretty commonplace among small businesses that build a site and forget it. So the problem isn't with SEO per se. It's that you haven't kept your site adapting to the times.

Google constantly adjusts its algorithms to keep up with changes in how the internet is being used. For example, is your site mobile friendly? Two years ago, Google changed their algorithms to reflect the fact that 70% of sites are now accessed through mobile devices. Are you updating content? Are you wired into social media? The list goes on and on.

I would find someone who understands SEO ASAP and start tweaking your site. Just as importantly, I would have a plan to keep content fresh on your site and live by that plan.

The google's algorythm for different websites keep on changing time by time. You need to stay updated and you need to continue working on your website with a view to being in the top of the game. So, here are few activities you can perform!

1) Stay updated with the google algorythm
2) Keep on searching for the quality & relevent back-links
3) Do web2.0 & Article submission for the specific sites
4) A huge amount of people are using the social networking site so, do miss to share your content on the social networking site
5) The Bing search engine has officially declared that they consider social presence for the rankings

Perform these activities and check out the rankings of your website after two or three months
