Question. I have called the Secretary of State and also stopped by yesterday. I got so confuse, they dont know how to explain to someone new in the business world.

I need to know how to start a business. its an event planning business.

whats the first step?

I already checked the name of the business is clear. and have the website ready, its online.

I AM so confuse, what do i need to do FIRST? do i need to get a Fed ID number? State ID?
How do I file the LLC? whats the order?

Should I just hire someone? there are millions of companies online that offer that service but not sure how reliable they are. I dont trust them.

Before you waste time and energy dealing with the issue of LLC filing, lets deal with issue number one! How much do you know about the legal requirements/licenses/registrations/tax filing you may need to operate that type of business in your state, county and all the local municipalities?
