About 20 years ago I paid $400 for a 4 digit bar code prefix from the uniform code council. I have only used it for about 10 products, so that leaves I guess about 9950 combinations left. I was wondering how much prefixes go for now? A company offered to buy my prefix for $300. I'm trying to determine if this is a fair offer or not.
