personally i think buying anything with an unstable currency is nuts whether socks , stocks or real estate .

it is hard enough investing and making money in a meaningful way . can you imagine selling an appreciated asset like real estate and the next day the payment falls in value more than the asset appreciated . so now you lost money ....

a currency needs to be stable to be much use except out on the fringe .
