That may be but I have the feeling that solar panel installation would be highly impacted by a recession.

Death and taxes.

So either work with the dead, or work as a tax preparer for others, like HR Block.

The OP was asking for something low-stress/risk w/high profit--
That is likely something that really doesn't exist
We had neighbors who had company selling sports equipment to prisons--
Government contract--
Just middleman since they didnt' have to manufacture any of the equipment
They made money hand over fist back then
They moved to more expensive home after a few years and we lost contact

But they always had to rebid for their contract every so often and I don't know how the budget for that type of service would inflate--but the number of inmates usually grows
And rules require certain amount of recreational equipment made available to inmates

So that seemed like a great niche business

And with the simplified tax brackets after new tax bill there are likely fewer people who benefit/need help doing their own taxes

Tax attorneys and CPAs -- those fields grow because businesses use them and the wealthy--but they also require time and money to acquire the qualifications and aren't w/o stress

Be a supplier to the fed gov that spend more when the recession hits to try to create a recovery and a cut to the fed gov means a lower increase in year to year spending than the prior year.
