most of us mail so little personally it is really nothing special . it is like when morton raises the price on a container of salt . it will really only effect those who still insist on doing things via checks and snail mail. a business may feel it a lot more

He says who's complaining about the price of stamps, for crying out loud?

I walk into the post office with a letter in my hand, and I say I want you to take this to Alaska. And I'll pay you 50 cents.

How about Christmas cards which have already been dying a slow death?

nope , not in years , all sent via e-mail. we stopped really sending ny cards decades ago ...with things like face book all the things we used to do with cards are no longer done that way by us

Outside of a parcel every now and then, I probably mail a dozen things a year. I send my invoices by e-mail. I remit payments to vendors electronically. So the cost of postage is a big shrug of the shoulders to me.
