Yes...COST and LOCATION go hand in hand.

LOW rent may due to VISABILITY...low run down bldgs etc.

On the other hand...NOT being on a major street with a lot of traffic could be a deterrent.

On the other hand...a Industrial area with a lot of traffic will bring recognition and visibility...thats what I had for a total of 17 yrs. Rent was reasonable...something I could live with.

Many first time business owners forget that once they unlock the front doors...there has to be a minimum amout of $$$$ into the cash register to cover the basic expenses of unlocking the door before any PROFIT can be realized.

Sad but true in MANY cases.
