In Adult/Career Education many people who had signed up for general interest classes are calling the office and begging for their money back and enrollments for general education and career related classes is falling like crazy. They say it is the worst they have seen in 30 years. Many of the students had been getting their classes paid by their employer but many people are now unemployed or the educational assistance program is being dropped.

Uh.... do you not think if your business practices are unethical/immoral, it will not get back to your customer through your competitors and thereby affect your sales? Or, your competitors will not leak this info to law enforcement or the media thereby affecting sales? Not to mention the potential of someday acquiring your competitor, or their product lines, or their employees, etc. Many markets are small and your reputation is everything...

Very true, but some of them are so bad that its good to leave them there. Otherwise, some real competition might show up.

In the past year I have been doing £100 of work and getting £50 in return. Surely something has to give, I have to stop treating myself like a mug. Basicially, with a group things were doing badly, but with the other important guy I have, I can make 5 times and more as much as I used to. I discovered that with a team, the people that were involved were not really making any money, but instead were flexing their muscles and attitudes which totally alienated the top spots and made a division in the enterprise. Those that refused to do anything again ended up being sacked. In the end when the Credit Crunch kicked in, all that was left was ideas and shouting matches. With customers we made x amount of money, but with the guy who was the advisor, together we can make x amount x 10. Me and him in one year are looking at £50,000 - £252,000. This type of income would ensure my retirement. I'm happy to retire. This type of income is why I can be rude to my customers. They are not needed, neither is a group.

Not now. What I do would take a million + to get started in. The equipment to do thing to code is VERY expensive. One other reason. To get a license in Michigan, you have to drill under another driller. I will never train my competition.

If you were a boss of an enterprise, what would you do if your enterprise manager refused to carry out an objective?

My business has been slowing down the past few years. Same work, less pay. I probably need to find a new career, but not sure what.
