Mine has stopped and started all the time, so now I'm looking at another direction to get the money. Its a lot more income for doing a whole lot less.

And I am thinking about starting a small scale beginner Decorating Business.....think this is a good time? It would just be me and two painters to start...one is my son. I would think anyone who wants to hire a decorator is not doing too bad in this slowing economy. Any advice? Also how should I advertise? I want to start off slow since I have no schooling but the passion and talent for this. In the State of Florida no liscense is required. I am also going to try to start this with a small portfolio of some work I have done.

Hubby is a self-employed accountant. Business is brisk...he comes home with new clients from his weekly BNI meetings, and all of them are future tax clients. He's so busy that he has had to sub-contract some of the work. His existing clients though have reduced the phone calls (since he charges for those based on time). Bookkeeping frequency has not dropped, although if his clients close shop, obviously it is lost income to him as well. All in all, his business does not seem to be adversely affected by the slowing of the economy.
