Default Please advise on setting up a credit repair business.

Hi everybody, I have a friend of mine who is interested in starting a credit repair business and I want to know the possibilities of getting profits in this. I know that every business takes some time, but what are the future prospects in this and what advices would you give him to get it started!

My advice is DONT. It's a scam just as I suspect you are and am 100% certian the 2nd post is.

No one can repair some one elses credit. It's the biggest scam since mystery shoppers and stuffing envelops.

And by coming in this thread and asking that crap is insulting to us.

Desertsun41, credit repair is not a scam, I am a licensed mortgage broker and I have helped people fix INCORRECT information on their credit report in the course of my business, so in that way you can assist people in "repairing" their credit. I didn't charge for this service. The credit agencies make mistakes all the time, and it is these mistakes that you can assist people in removing, as far as removing derogatory information that is accurate, well that IS a scam and anyone who claims to be able to do so is a fraud.

Also, there are many laws regarding credit repair services. I would check them out thoroughly first.
