phelps dropped by kellogg
I think we should all boycott Kellogg. They are basically saying smoking one little joint makes a US olympic champion a bad guy in this single action.
Let's tell Kellogg what we think about that, and make sure the cornflakes stay out of our kitchen.

Sorry - I don't normally by Cornflakes but it looks like I might have to stock up. Do I think smoking weed is the end of the world? No - but I'm happy to see Kellogg take a stand in this gutless country of ours.

Kudos to Kellogg for making the right decision.
Dumping Phelps was a good thing as they have a reputation in the cereal field to uphold. Kids look up to atheletes as role models. They don't want a person who smokes weed on the front of the box.
A long ago saying was " The box of Champions ".

Wasn't a 8x gold medalist yet.
Wheaties suck as food, but i sure support their stance.
Might have to put them back in my emergency food program.

Yup, because a joint is so much worse for American health than Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes, and Cheez-its. Way to go Kellogs, supporting hypocrisy one grocery store at a time.

On the the other hand they have no problem taking in bailout money for their auto industry, from the other 49 states, which pretty much amounts to welfare for those making around 75k a year.

Actually if taken everyday it is worse for you, lung disease, memory issues, heart, liver and kidney disease, and it does mess up your digestive tract and ability to assimilate nutrients.
Yet the biggest threat is that is makes you crave Fruit loops and Cheez-its, so you end up with a double whammy.
Though i think it's stupid to outlaw it.

Yeesh. My Dad was a heavy dope smoker. He had zero short term memory and there were many other issues like no food in the house but he had his bloody high dollar hash oil. There is nothing good about weed and if you need it to get through the day you are a loser.
Trying to equate Froot Loops to weed is idiotic.
I'm so very sorry if that is not politically correct....
Hey - it's a nice high - but so what. Grow up.

Obesity is a bigger problem for this country. There is nothing healthy in the cereals Kellogs markets to children.
I'm sorry that your father is irresponsible. However, the more productive and intelligent people that I know have been occasional smokers. Amsterdam seems to be doing fine. Phelps obviously is nowhere near the level of your father. I can't see anything wrong with smoking a few times a month, honestly.
