Some of the workers being let go by IBM have a chance to remain with the company — if they're willing to move to Brazil, India, China or a dozen other low-wage countries. But the expatriate employees would likely be paid local wages as they begin their new lives overseas.

More benefits of free trade. I'm not for free trade - I'm for as much open and FAIR trade as possible. I used to work for Uncle Sam overseas and was daily exposed to how most of our trade partners rape us every chance they get.

We are not going about this process intelligently.
