CHICAGO (Reuters) - Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc, the casino operator named for Donald Trump, filed for bankruptcy protection on Tuesday as recession and declining gambling revenues battered the company and its rivals.

Trump files for bankrupcy again. I guess he is not the tycoon he makes himself out to be. Like his show a few years back.....he's FIRED!

From reading the various news articles it says that Donald Trump Entertainment files for bankruptcy not Donald Trump himself. Even though his name is plaster on all the Casino's and hotel's he's is only a board member out of many. So that have me to believe that all decision is a group effort. Also the news stated that he offered to buy back Trump Entertainment company but the share holder willn't allow it.

Lucky Him, I've heard that he has filed for bankruptcy a couple of times on this book called "All The Money In The World" though he's a trusted loanee. He's got a good rep with banks and that's why he's up there.
I think he'll be OK, though the company, as you've stated isn't his. he's just a board member.

Trump knows what he is doing. He's a very shrewd businessman. This bankruptcy filing, although high profile, will more than likely not affect his wealth in a negative way, nor will it reflect poorly upon him reputation-wise. He'll do alright for certain.
