Wait until the Dow gets down below 4,000 and start buying select stocks. And yet I am beginning to think 4,000 might not be low enough. Scary.
Anyone with that kind of money would not be hiring unqualified people to invest their money - unless it was handed to them on a platter and they didn't know any better.

What is scam about about that site? 90% of the projects are scams?

This whole thread feels like a scam. You're telling me that you represent a guy who has tens of millions of dollars to loan in the tightest credit market in recent history, and you're having trouble finding takers??? Sorry, that dog don't hunt.
My guess is that you vaguely know someone with a large amount of money. That person may have told you, at one point in time, that he'd throw you a commission on any interesting projects that you brought his way. Now you're out scouring the internet, where everyone and their dog has the next Yahoo or Google brewing in their basement. Honestly, you come across like someone who has no clue what you're doing. I don't mean that disrespectfully, but as constructive feedback from someone on the other side of the fence. If I'm off base, I apologize. However, it sure looks likely that I'm right.

Haha this idiot John Melin actually fell for my post!
Look at this message he sent me! What a little scam artist!
Hello
I saw that you wrote in my thread and was interested in a loan.
What kind of project do you want to invest in?
How much money do you need?
You must loan at least 1,3 million USD or about 1 million Euro.
Interest rate: 3,5%
Repayment: Up to 50 years in some cases.
Must have a business plan to show.
You can only borrow up to 90% of the loan value, you must have 10% your self.
Please get back to me with your email and phone number and a time when I can call you. I also need your time zone.
Thanks
John Melin

sherlock homes has been investigating
In USA the people use "," instead of "." You are not from USA, right?
You did not know before, but now you do. If you still don't understand check it up on google.com
johnmelin.com is not connected to a hosting plan with a website yet. Do you understand the word "hosting plan"? If you don't make a search on google.com and look it up.
John Melin is not a fake name. If you don't believe me then check it up...if you can, but I don't really think you got the brain and knowledge for it...
How old are you? 12? I don't want you to write in my thread. You are just making a fool of yourself.

Sherlock Homes? No, sorry. Using google does not make me a detective.
Using "." to represent 3.5% is universal. Nobody uses "," to represent a "." unless their "." key is broken, they can't see or they are just an idiot.
I'm making a fool of myself? You're the one coming to a message board telling people you have $1.3Million to loan to someone and you can't find someone to loan you the money.
But, your poor English is what really shows you're out to scam people.
You ask in this thread where YOU can find projects to invest in,
but in your personal message to me, you are asking me to loan YOU
money to for a "special project". It's bullcrap man.
You are out to scam people. Who in their right mind is going to send you money, and then be paid back over 50 years??? That's what you said.
And why would a young cute Swede like yourself be coming to an ALL AMERICAN message board to get people to loan you money? Why not start in your own home country?
Only a fool would be asking random people on the internet what to do with their money (and were talking about big money $1.3million) and only a fool would reply to my initial post. It took you less than 60 seconds to send your little personal message to me.
I'm actually going to Sweden this summer in May and June.
I'd like to meet you face to face to discuss this loan business.

Dunno that our "detectives" are as clever as they think.
John has made no effort to hide his ID, and domain is parked at dodaddy.com. He reserved his own name for his own use, and did not choose to open or own a website. There are millions of parked domains, and many email servers that do not have a public website associated with them.
Sorry to pry into details, John, but I think you may have an interesting business model and have considered doing something like this myself from the operator's side. So here is just public information >>>
http://www.networksolutions.com/whoi.../johnmelin.com
Looks like he has done some software business, if the same guy? Big deal.

Back towards the actual business model, now that it is on the table. John or someone acts as the bank. Gets 20 or so folks to put in $100,000. That makes $2,000,000 on deposit as working money. Open a bank, with a 10 to 1 loan reserve ratio. Loan out $20 million at 3% (saying 3% because I think I tracked 2.5 and 3.5 in this conversation). That gives an annual cash flow of $600,000. If John keeps the expenses under half of that, he has a net income of $300,000 per year without a lot of effort. It would work now, as Central Banks are doing reserve loan money very cheap.
Parts that can screw him or shut the operation down are if his interest costs go up from the Central Bank, or if the depositor/loanee fails to pay him in the longer run. An enhancement I can see to mitigate some of that risk would be doing this from the US to Mexico or Vice Versa, as such cross-border loans are guaranteed under NAFTA. Those guarantees may exist under other trade agreements, but dunno.
That is a legit application of what is being discussed. Does not mean that it is legit, nor that it is not a scam. To fully work, some how the deposit must also be insured, for example via the FDIC if US based. Advantages over traditional banks that John would have is a pre-selected customer base, and a zero-cost capitalization of the bank.
