Quick books?
Anyone use Quickbooks? Do you like it? What version do you use?
Are you using the merchant service for running credit cards?
Thanks, again, in advance!

I use QB Pro 2009, I use the biling soutlion along with the credit card stuff. It may cost a little more but then again is all works together. I don't have to go here and there, Just one click and it is downloaded in QB. QB did have some big probelms with vista but there lastet update has fixed all and all is well. QB can be nice but you will need to take the time to learn it and use it. Don't sit back and wait. Pratice, read up on it and ask questions. It will do a lot that most do not know.

Thanks! I guess the free version is out of the question, then!

The free version is a good demo, but no, you don't want to get your business into it unless you are ready to commit to it. Im a certified trainer user, and have worked for several companies that have it. You can get QB at different Office stores from 99$ up and online too. Check Ebay and craigslist. People have extra copies all the time that they sell. I have some here in Texas, but seeing as you are in Tenn, that wouldn't be a good benefit to you. Be happy to help with online advice, but as far as the software, you should definitely go with 2008 or newer for Vista computers.

Then 2007 will work, only problem is no updates available. I would go with 2008 or 09. The cost is minimal, I've seen them online for 89 to 149 according whatever options you require. Just don't get stuck using 2007 and then can't get any updates after June. Or add another computer and can't get one without changing to Vista

or wait for Windows 7 I don't think I can deal w/ the overhead of Vista. Holding out for now, supposedly Nov release? (still on dial-up, live in the boonies, can't imagine how slow updates would be + I have to pay by the byte)
Does QB run on linux?
