Many years.

As a stocking industrial products distributor, my sales are direct to end users, contractors, and installers. We have the outbuildings and storage facilties, so it's no big deal to store product. I've got the bulk materials handling equipment to offload semi-trailers, and pallet jacks to move those.

Don't forget to check on your local zoning codes or CC&R's re the legality of a home based business, especially if you intend to deliver product to your clients at your house.
