Smile Grants to start a Youth Association?

I am planning to start a Youth Association for my county in a little over a year. Are there any programs out there that would give funding or grants to a group like mine before I start the group so that there is money to start the group? Thanks a million!

You need to be a non-profit to even get considered then its a long proceesss to file for a grant once you find grants available.Much easier to get loacl money really with alot less paperwork. That is why so many have specailist in writing grant request.Good Luck

I have a faith based martial arts group in New Jersey who teaches inner city kids with the undestanding that kids will stay away for drugs, gangs and do the right thing. Is there mini grant money for us?
