It's the end of that era, it's run it's course and now Hef is trying to capture any value that's left out of it before it becomes worthless. It's possible that his ego will prevent the sale of this empire because of his perceived inflated value of a bygone era. This will be interesting to watch as this business model shrivels up.
His kids are off to college so he's selling his ex wifes house that's next to his in Holmby Hills, the girls next door all have left the bunny hutch to pursue their own lifes so it looks like everything is unfolding on him. I hope that desparation doesn't set in on him and force him to make some bad decisions like selling the mansion.
