BCBGirl is on a distinguished road
Seriously, when I was 18 I worked at Boston Market until I was 21.

Just make sure you go to college! Promise me that, if not you maybe delivering pizzas forever. Pick a good major that will help make you be a balanced individual and have employment (Engineering, Public Education, Medical) after you graduate.

Go clean motel rooms or wash dishes...you won't complain about delivering pizzas!

I would be totally irritated if the pizza delivery person called my house ahead of time to see if I had dogs before they came and delivered. No one wants to deal with that. They just want their pizza. I highly doubt your manager would allow you to bother his customers in this way if he knew you were doing it. No delivery person should be using a customer's private phone number to call them unless (maybe) they get lost on the way there. Who wants to be bothered by this sort of silliness just to get a pizza? You order a pizza because you are too tired to cook and dont' want to be bothered. I can't imagine having a delivery person call my house to ask if I have any dogs before they bring my pizza? I also cannot imagine having a pizza delivery person run away if I have a dog!! I think if the pizza place you worked for knew about this behavior you would be fired. If anyone called my house ahead of time to check if I had a dog, I would call and complain about it. That is totally unacceptable behavior.

Oh, please! You can't be bothered to answer a question on the telephone about whether or not you have a dog running around in your yard that might pose a problem for a pizza delivery person? Get over yourself and try to see the other side of the issue.
