Default Liquidation Services - How to Get The Word Out - Marketing Yourself

Need a suggestion or two on marketing this type of service.

I have liquidated millions of dollars in product for my own company for over 10 years. I have had a few corporations approach me to liquidate their supplies and now they are steady clients.

Now I am looking to do this full time instead of my current path. In short, I need more clients.

Problem is I am having a mind cramp on how to find them. I have never had to advertise myself as a service as I have been product oriented for the better part of over a decade.

Shy of the traditional methods.. ads, CL postings, etc... I am a bit stumped. Yes, word of mouth goes a long way and there is cold calling/visiting. Problem is without much experience in this part of marketing myself, I am at a loss on the proper approach of these methods.

Does anyone have suggestions for marketing yourself as a service in a field like this? Web site is a given and being worked on.

Thanks!
