If anyone thinks this economic depression is going to end soon then let me tell you that I just hit the pick 6 lotto 14 consecutive drawings in a row. I might even have a half mile long bridge for sale cheap.

Actually, I think it was a very interesting observation. And despite the evidence the person in the article thinks the economy is only going to recover quite slowly. He didn't say that next month we'll be back at pre-2008 conditions or anything.

Perhaps its worthless. I don't think I'd suggest this as THE barometer, after all the govt keeps many statistics that would be more useful.
But I think the trending tool is an interesting measure in the tool box.
