Fish Farming (franchises, investment, vs, capital)

Am looking for ideas on how to start a fish farm.

How big of an acreage would we need ideally?
How much of a capital investment would we have to make?
Are there 'fish farm' franchises like subway etc?

Appreciate responses from people who are in this line of business.

Most of the fish farming has gone away, either closed up or gone elsewhere. Catfish farming has been done in Al, but the prices vs. the cost of production forced most people out. There are still plenty of farm ponds with catfish eaten by friends and family, but it isn't anywhere near as popular as it was. Tilapia, IIRC, has been offshored.
