Default How to develop a product idea
Has anyone here developed an idea or invention into a marketable product. I have an idea for a product I feel there is a market for, and would like to go about bringing it to reality. I have no formal business training, and I am not really sure where to start. Do you build a prototype? Do market research? I am not really sure what the first step should be, any suggestions?

Talk to your local inventor's association. There will be people who already done that. Also there are lots of books about this topic.
