Fast-food chain KFC is giving two Indiana cities $7,500 so it can emblazon founder Colonel Sanders' face on their hydrants and fire extinguishers to promote new "fiery" chicken wings.

Experts say to expect more ads like this, on public property from sewer grates to the local landfill, as companies look to cut through the clutter of traditional advertising.

Dogs and fire hydrants? The Colonel might not appreciate their attention.

Do the racecar approach. Slap these under those ads, in descending order.

"Cut through the clutter of advertising....."

By creating more of it?

Ok. Yeah. That makes sense.

I'm still wondering how long it's going to be before the one last remaining virgin area is capitalized on.

Since NOTHING is sacred or off limits anymore if there's a dollar to be made, why won't the cities and states solve their budget problems by whoring...I mean selling their street and city names?

For instance. You're cruising down the freeway and the signs are all that bland green with white lettering and they announce the next exits. You know...

Kraemer Blvd....1/2 mile
Tustin Ave.......1 mile
Lakeview Road.....2 miles

How cool would it be to change the signs and names to where it would read something like (replete with logos and all)?

BevMo Blvd.....1/2 mile
Target Ave.....1 mile
T-Mobile Road...2 miles

Or a small town like "Groverville" could re-name itself "Pepsiville".
