Maybe readers won't remember 1983 but you have to patch off the two biggest vote provinces in the nation. The west just doesn't have the votes. Like the 80's recession/depression Ontario had money poured into it while you couldn't raise a "sous" in the west.

Among other issues, it's just a little more obvious today. We're about to get hit hard.
