Hi there

I currently think this job downtown has a good chance of coming through, However I would like to live in the SE communities because I don't want a condo anymore and I want more room. How can I get from Mckenize town to downtown? Via train? does anyone have any advice for this commute? if so do you do that commute and how do you do it?

I have about 350 + to buy a place and the SE communities gives the best bang for the buck overall.

I dont go out and party so I just dont need an expensive small condo in the core?

How do you locals get from the SE to Downtown. This office is right beside the train station.

I just moved here and feel that I need some help.

Thanks

I used to live in Prestwick before I migrated south, and worked in the core.

There's an express bus that does McKenzie Towne and then goes straight downtown, but it gets busy, and there's limited buses, so if you don't leave exactly on time, you're boned.

What I used to do was drive to the C-train. Either in Somerset or if I was running late at Chinook.

How Fast is it from somerset to the downtown core?

As for the northwest, is there parking on crowfoot station? ideally what quadrant is better to get downtown and back again, the SE or the NW? I can do both?

Like in the SE, in the early morning do you drive to the Somerset ark and then take the Ctrain? is that normal what people do?

Well normal people would drive downtown and park at work, but since a parking spot is roughly equivalent to the rent for a small apartment, people are forced to take transit. The train is the most efficient way to get in and out of the core.

The ride from Somerset to Downtown is probably half an hour or so.
