And the NDP wonder why Alberta's oil sector is nervous? That's Notley on the left, at an anti-oil rally.

It takes a special kind of idiot to vote in a party that is against your Province' main industry!

You're calling majority of Albertans idiots? Nice! It's called democracy. NDP won fair and square and it's obvious the PC's are corrupt. People want change and change has happened. You extreme right wingers need to deal with it.

Yes, because majority of people voted for NDP. That's why they won.

Majority? You are an idiot if you call 20 % of the eligible voter majority. My riding the little unemployed "manager" got 30% of the vote. He got 5100 while the WR and the PCs both had about 5000 each the other two about 3000 total. Far from majority.. If you check the actual numbers they were far from majority in most ridings. If the conservatives were united they would have won 61 seats and the NDP 25.

Why do you think everyone who hates the NDP likes the PCs? There were 5 parties on the ballot.

Deal with 10% unemployment. 10% increase in property taxes 10% sales tax (5%PST), Carbon tax, cap n trade too. You just voted for HELL, in four years this province is going to look like a ghost town.

there's a reason why BC voted them out, same with Saskatchewan, I bet you are too young to remember "Last one to leave Saskatchewan turn out the lights." When they kicked out the commie bastards in 2007 their economy started to boom. 4.5% unemployment right now! Selinger in Manitoba is going to get his arse kicked in the next election, he has a 17% approval rating. That's worse than REDfraud ever got!

NDP and economy should not be used in the same sentence. ...

Alberta is FOCKED... thanks for killing it.

cheer up, at least your two hockey teams are now going to be the golden generation for the next decade

on a more serious note, hope you guys pull out of it. the layoffs are hitting my demographic (early-mid career 20-30 somethings) hard as they don't have the seniority to weather it but they are starting to have the responsibilities of a grown adult like a mortgage and a family unlike some of the kids fresh out of U who can just live with parents until the storm passes.

Then for the sake of good lord, do us all a favor, and leave. Move to Mississippi or some such place. No one is begging for pessimists like you to stay. Just feels so depressing listening to people like you, though your many doomsday stories are kind of entertaining to read.

the Scots just did pretty much the same thing where they are: promised all by all IN POWER last year, and then diddled again, so they've just elected almost all their seats and we've got a return to the sixties again, just a different way about it. You can't diddle the electorate FOREVER, just almost for ever.
