Hi, I am thinking to move to Calgary or Vancouver from London UK. I have my PR. Basically moving for the outdoor lifestyle, which I cannot get in London.
I wondered which city offers the best employment prospects for a non-technical project manager? I have done online searches but it is difficult to determine what the demand is like.
Also, would you say it would be difficult without some additional specialist skills, in say construction or IT?
My plan would be to work in these cities but live in a quieter suburb/town (Squamish if Vancouver, or Brag Creek/Canmore if Calgary).
Id go Vancouver for now and then shift to Calgary later on. Calgarys job market is brutal right now but has much higher wages and affordable housing. Vancouver has a condo boom going on but home prices are out practically out of reach and wages are relatively lower. Both cities are great for outdoors.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will try Vancouver first, or possible somewhere in between such as Kelowna or Kamloops.
