Hey,

I am planning to move to Calgary from Charlotte, NC and would like to know about the IT job market in Calgary. I am a Project Manager by profession with 8+ years of experience managing projects for large IT and Financial Services institutions.

Any information on the job market as well as housing will be appreciated.

Why would you come to Calgary? Do you have a work visa for Canada? With oil at $40/bbl and not going anywhere many engineering and IT firms in Calgary are laying off people. In fact a colleague of mine who was a Project Manager was just laid off permanently today. You're about 2 years too late I'm afraid...
