My parents received a certified letter in the mail saying that they have 30 days from the date they received it to pay an amount they owe to our home, nothing LESS than what they ask or they'll return it back. Here's a part of the letter:

"Your referenced mortgage loan is in default for failure to remit timely payments as required by the terms of your note. Subsequent payments have not been made..."

"Any amount less than the total amount due may be returned to you, the loan accelerated and foreclosure proceedings initiated without further notice."

My father does not have enough money to pay what he owes. So he wanted me to ask what will happen, since the 30 days has already passed.

This is a very hard time for me and my family, since we are from what my dad tells me are CLOSE to losing our home of 16+ years. Please help. Thanks!

Eviction is what comes next. Dad is a big boy, knows what happens if you do not pay.
