The average new Whole Foods store is now running about 35,000 to 40,000 sq ft. So it would need all of the available space.

Personally I'd expect Fresh & Easy to go to Garden Street Terrace, their average store size is just around 14,000 sq ft.
hi FresnoFacts,

I thought the market was 21,000 sq. ft. I think you are right. I did heard they looked into that spot. The only other place is replacing the old New Frontiers building as they shut they down that one for the new one next to Costco. I don't think think New Frontiers has plans to go next to Target because New Frontiers is next door. But there is a spot next to Target with 36,000 sq. ft.

What do you think about the old New Frontiers building or next to Target Fresno Facts? Do you think any of those spots will work?

I think Whole Foods might go next to Target or replace the old New Frontiers store. I think next to Target is most likely. All though, I'm sure they want to find some place in downtown.

Has anyone heard about if Whole Foods is going next to Target, replacing the old New Frontiers building, or is looking to go some where in downtown?

SLO is not on their 'list of stores in development', so probably none of the above.

I emailed their real estate agent for Santa Barbara and he says they are still of us interest. Just because SLO is not on their list doesn't mean it won't happen. I think the Target one is not likely if New Frontiers is going next to TJ Maxx. If New Frontiers backed out that'd be another story. I wonder if the location of where the old New Frontiers is would work.

The owner has some radical rightwing politics, I would not give him any of my money.

I'm a rightwing conservative so I'll support them just like I do support Forever 21, In N Out, and others alike.

The owner is a Libertararian btw. I heard they treat their employees very well and don't support unions because they already treat their employees good. Yes, they are more pricey than Trader Joes but you get better stuff and I'm sure there are folks in SLO that can afford to shop there and Trader Joes. Hello college town, so you know we have a high amount of people with masters degree that can afford and want to go there.

I think they will take over New Frontier's old location or go some where in downtown or go next to Target. Where in downtown is what I know. They seem to like old buildings and their own parking lot (look at one in Santa Cruz or in Santa Barbara). The old New Frontiers spot is perfect for them though. It's close to Cal Poly and I think in their store size range.

Heck, get a job there.

A libertarian is a conservative who likes drugs.

You are too young to be a conservative, conservatives are conservatives because they fear stuff, you should not be fearing stuff at your age.
