A lot of folks in California didn't like it when Utah started messing with its business.. so please give the same consideration to another state.

What do you mean? How did Utah mess with California's business?

I'm not talking about forgetting your license. I'm talking about driving without one. As in never applied for one, having had it suspended, or never bothered to renew it.

In the case of forgetting your license with you, police officers run into this from time to time and they are aware people forget. So, you give the police officer your driver's license number, they verify it is valid, problem solved.

More to the point, Mormons from Utah and other states interfered.

There are also plenty of instances -- especially in the West -- where states' rights have been taken to the brink and the federal government has reluctantly indulged their experiments, even when they're complained about having their toes stepped upon. California's Compassionate Use Act (Prop. 215) usurps the authority of the DEA to act as the country's sole gatekeeper of the uses of controlled substances. Oregon's Death with Dignity Act does the same thing. And those acts forged new policy that was at variance with existing federal policy. Arizona's SB1070 only seeks to bring enforcement of Ch. 8, sect. 1325 of the U.S. Code under the purview of state law enforcement officers...same policy, new additional policy enforcerers. In relative terms, is that really such a demonstration of states' rights bravura?

You are wasting your time, californio sur lives in a world of his own creation surrounded by thick walls which logic and fact don't penetrate.

For all the racial profiling that he has been screaming about it is funny to note that the fed has completely bypassed that in their lawsuit.

Try not to sneeze californio sur, the rest of your brains might fall out.
