In SoCal I miss the warm (not hot) weather, beaches, major entertainment/shopping/museums within reach, and the aspect of cultural diversity that made people more friendly on the surface and easier to talk to in general.

That being said, there's still more I don't miss but we'll see because every place has its negatives.

I have lived abroad earlier in my life and the thing I missed most about southern CA was:

1. The weather, especially the mild winters
2. IN 'N OUT BURGERS!

Yep those two for sure. I was just in CA and had several burgers and my wife who was not with me was not happy, as she loves them too. Fortunately I talked my way out of any real trouble. True my mouth was full at the time .................................

Best fast food burgers.

I moved to Arizona for grad school/ a job. I can't wait to come back to Cali!!!!!!!!!! but AZ is pretty awesome too

I miss the AMAZING weather (I like the cold in Northern California). But most of all I miss the trees, nature, non-desert climate and the OCEAN.

I also miss the liberal politics of California (yeah.... judge me lol). And I miss how there is SO many cities to visit in California. There's mainly just Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff (which is pretty small) in AZ.
