She's doing fine. The first time Jerry-the-Job-Killer Brown was in office, he gave state workers the right to form unions. It worked out well for them. Now California is broke because the public employee unions own the Dems and the Dems run the legislature. Public employee unions are financing Brown’s campaign ads, and, if elected again, he will owe them for the win and will be unwilling to veto their power grabs and tax hikes. They will control the state completely--fleecing taxpayers, destroying the tax base (3,000 taxpayers and businesses leave California every day), and forcing the state into bankruptcy or permanent deficits. If that’s what you want, vote for Jerry.

If you think Meg Whitman can turn around California you're crazy. Not saying Jerry Brown will but or can, but voting for a non voting CEO just because she's "anti establishment" is not a good reason. Ebay is not California.

Looks like someone picked the wrong career.

Oh, incidentally, the average retirement income for California Public Sector workers is $22,000 a year, how does that stack up with your pension plan?

I don't disagree that Whitman can turn around California, but Brown is/was part of the problem regardless. IMHO, this state is rounding the drain and nothing can fix it short of bankruptcy.

No she can't but she is slightly better than the failure that is Jerry Brown

Bah. She'll just do what CEOs do best. She'll set a goal of raising "earnings per share" (reducing deficit), achieve that goal by firing most competent state employees and slashing salaries of the ones that remain till no one with IQ above 90 remains on the public payroll, award herself bonuses contingent on achieving the goal, then, when things turn really sour and there's mass rioting in the streets, she'll retire, collect her golden parachute and move to Costa Rica or some no-income-tax state.

But I suppose things could be worse. At least Whitman is not such a total failure at being a CEO as Fiorina.

What utter nonsense. This is the kind of clueless rationale that put Bush in office and reelected the village idiot. My God!

Stands to reason that Whitman is your "guy." Whitman caught here lying again because she has no plan. Her party has been an utter failure. She stinks.

Once again, for some, beliefs are more important than facts

I'm not sure if you've used any state agencies in the last few years, but this is already the case, and we overpay them to boot.
