My first real job was fighting forest fires for CDF. No matter how hot it gets, I remind myself, I've been WAY hotter than this! Temperature seems to drop 10 degrees immediately.

Only 103 here today, finally summer.

Its 106 outside & 90 inside. Coolers are useless when temps are 95 & over.

That's fairly close to me; maybe over a mile west. The closest station I could find to Rosemead Blvd near me was in east San Gabriel with a maximum of 102F.

Your welcome. It has been a beastly August here. 116 heat index, 106 for a couple of days. Was 85 today and its beautiful tonight with the AC OFF!!!!

I say bring on Fall. I kept wondering if somehow I was back in Riverside this month. Year I moved, two years ago, was triple digits all the way there.

And thats why I want to move near a beach in 2 years!!!

I drive around all day for my job. I blast my AC but when I'm doing inspections outside for about 10-15 mins and I walk back to my car. My back is sweating after just those few minutes. I can't wait for summer to end.

I've been to the beach about 10 times this summer. Sweat my ass off driving there and when we get there, its not even hot. I still get in the water cause I'm not a little ***** but just about all my friends are. Going into the water by yourself is boring.

Yeah, this summer has been chilly at the beach the few times I've gone with colder than normal water temps but I always go in because who wants to just lay around and sweat. Most of the times the females with us don't want to get their hair wet and refuse to swim unless they get thrown in I swam at the beach just east of Topanga Canyon Drive a few weeks ago and saw several dolphins only about 40 yds off shore; it was beautiful

WU is forecasting 108 for South Fontana tomorrow, so I can add at least 3 degrees to that, maybe more. Today's forecast high was 105 and we topped out at 108.

I'm dreading next month's Edison bill.
