Cool Whitman & Fiorina Falling in the Polls

"Brown leads Whitman 49%-44% in poll

Boxer leads Fiorina 51%-43% in Senate race, survey finds. Both Republicans are hampered by voters' negative impressions of them, poll says".

Both Republicans were hamstrung by voters' negative impressions of them — particularly Whitman, who has poured a national record $119 million of her own money into an advertising-heavy campaign yet has seen her unpopularity rise, the survey showed".

Delicious! Brown, Newsom, Harris, Feinstein, Boxer and Pelosi! Welcome to California -- owned, operated, represented and controlled by the Bay Area! Next stop, move the Capitol to San Francisco!

Don't forget that Whitman and Fiorina are also from the Bay Area. I thought Brown was originally from LA, no?

Brown was born in San Francisco. I think he was raised in the Bay Area and Sacramento.

He did live in Los Angeles for a few years as an adult before running for his first statewide race.

And besides, in one of his latest incarnations he was the mayor of Oakland.

If nothing else, guilt by association. But he was born and schooled in San Francisco, attended Santa Clara University and graduated from Bezerkeley. His official residence is still Oakland!

Just from an outsiders point of view, not really following too closely, I think Brown will end up winning. The two choices don't sound great, but I think California learned it's lesson with Arnold. Do not elect someone that has no idea wtf they are doing. Whitman ran a online auction company so she can run arguably the most important state in the country?

Well, she could auction the state off piece by piece ... say we start with Sacramento? Do I hear a $ billion from the Koch's in the back row hiding behind the curtains?

Interesting and useless trivia reveals through wikipedia searches that most of these CA politicians are from somewhere else: Meg Whitman is from Long Island, NY; Carly Fiorina was born in Austin, TX, but apparently raised in North Carolina; Barbara Boxer (that's an easy one) was born and bred in Brooklyn (BBBBB); Nancy Pelosi was born and raised in Baltimore, MD.
Gavin Newsom, contrary to popular myth was not born in SF, but spontaneously burst forth from Uranus.

That's odd. I didn't feel anything.
