Surprisingly, Governor Schwarzenegger vetoed a bill that would have required all European rail companies to divulge if they transported Jewish holocaust victims for the Nazi's during WW2. Some of these companies want to build the high-speed bullet trains that will travel from LA to the Bay Area. Seems that Arnold would have supported this bill and Jewish people may be angry that he vetoed it.

I think these Jewish people need to move the f on.

By the way: vetos and Nazis, not veto's and Nazi's.

The bill sounds like a pointless waste of time and money for everyone that's not going to change a damn thing.

I'm waiting for the SF Chronicle headline: "Arnold Rides Death Train".

You have to keep in mind that anyone who was associated with the decisions made back then has probably passed away by now. I see no reason to keep this issue around at this point, folks making decisions for those companies today likely weren't even alive (or were just young kids) prior to the early 1940's.

I think Jewish people who had relatives rounded up by the Nazis [see Fontucky I did write it correctly] will be really pissed that governor Schwarzenegger vetoed this bill. Maybe because Arnold's father was a Nazi himself. I don't care that it happened 65 years ago; nothing will erase the crime these rail companies participated in and too bad if they lose contracts.
