I think Whitman's pretty much toast. Yeah of course it will be another 9 days until the election is decided, but I believe the polls and according to them she'll lose unless there's some major new development.

Here is a shocker … Abraham Lincoln was a republican!

For someone who claimed to have a degree in American History, I'm surprised UNLV overlooked an important piece of info about Abraham Lincoln's opposition to the spread of slavery to the western United States.

I guess he has been lied to all his life …

Actually I was going to throw in that the nineteenth amendment was strongly opposed by the democrats in the south … yes the same people who opposed civil rights. So he is wrong on all counts.

Haha, I feel bad for you. You're like the guy who think he hit the lottery and then realizes he didn't even read the numbers right. Go back and learn how to read English. I said liberals not democrats. Abe was called a liberal by his opponents in the south, the people who fought for women's sufferage were liberals, and the civil rights movement was led by liberals. You are right, the democratic party used to be the conservative party. Even my 10 year old nephew knows that. The democratic conservatives jumped over to the Republican side when they dissapproved of the civil rights movement and increasingly growing left movement in the democratic party.

I only mentioned democrats at the very end when I pointed out the stock market. Good try though.

Sooner or later, the responses will become more strident and personal.

Not very surprising really.

The ironic part is that Meg Whitman COULD HAVE mailed $10 to every single registered Democrat and Independent in California and STILL have money left over, compared to the $140 million she has spent thus far.

However, it's all conjecture until election day. There's still 9 days left. Who knows what can happen!

Yep. Like I've said before, I like some conservative policies, I just don't like conservatives. If they weren't so single-minded, gullible, xenophobic, dogmatic and jingoistic, people might actually listen to what they have to say about lowering taxes and cutting spending.
