I don't care if he's a member of the Nazi Party. I'd like to shake the hand of a President Crapo..... I think.

In this case, I would wash my hand afterward, but how cool would that be!

it has nothing to do with feeling better. I have no respect for people of your ilk. You completely stereotyped an entire group of people yet you see nothing wrong with that?

Yep. I admit that it was an ignorant response to begin with. But it doesn't change the fact that most of the Latinos I know in California do depend on welfare programs. Anyone living in California who can't see that happening around the state is either blind or ignorant.

I am in Texas and trying to cover all the important elections. I have the exact same question, why is everyone calling California for Boxer with only 24% of the vote counted and Boxer with only a slight 0.6% lead?

The news agencies didn't call Pennsylvania or Illinois for the Republicans when they had 2% leads with 95% of the votes counted. What gives here?

Would love to see Fiorina win just to put to rest all these assinine exit polls. It is our votes that count, not polls.

The reason they can call it is that the most populous areas are breaking for Boxer with quite a few votes still left to count. For instance, Los Angeles County is breaking 53% for Boxer with only 9% reporting. This means there is a lot more votes to count and they are going to trend for Boxer, giving her a large amount of absolute votes when all is said and done, which won't be able to be made up elsewhere given LA's overwhelming concentration of people. Same for SF, only 34% reporting but breaking very much for Boxer, 77%. You can probably find these detailed breakdowns on any of the election sites.

There are also lots of white and black people who depend on those same programs so it makes no sense to single out Latinos. But if you realize it was ignorant, then I'm done.
