Los Angeles Times exit poll results show that both Brown for governor and Boxer for senate win. They are calling it the California "Firewall" where Republicans can not win regardless of how the GOP does outside California.

California needs to be its own country. If it had back all the money it sends to Washington, the state would be well in the black and could cut net taxes to Californians. The rest of the country is living on California welfare.

Which is to say that California is out of step with most of the rest of the country and it really likes how things have been going. Good luck with that!

So how are Loathsome (Mayor Hair Gel) and the cop-hating, illegal immigrant-loving Harris doing?

Channel 5\ KTLA interviewed the editor of the LA Times who projects a strong showing for Democrats in California claiming the Republicans can not cross the "Colorado River".

This is only preliminary, but the Times see it as a Democratic victory for governor and senate but have not made announcements about the other races to my knowledge.

From what I just saw, Cooley is ahead of Harris and Nuisance is ahead of Maldonado.

Nationally, in the Senate, the Republicans have made great strides so neither party will have a fillibuster-proof majority while Nancy Pelosi will be ousted as Speaker of the House which the Democrats are losing handily.

Interesting evening!

As of right now, it's too premature to announce the winners with only 8% of the precincts reporting.

The election results may take hours to calculate so the poll exit results are an educated guess. Channel 5 is saying that if the LA Times is already calling the race than it is as good as done.

Prop 19 is projected to lose!
