Question Im about to graduate HELP

My friend and I are planning on moving from Orlando, Fl to somewhere in South California. I wanted to know if anyone could give me a heads up on cities that had cheap apartments or housing areas for two new graduates who would just be starting off. We also would be attending the community college where we are living. Please please help!!! i figure something under $700/mo is that even possible???

Honestly, 700/month is a little low for California, especially if you are talking a 2 bedroom. I know that a one bedroom in Las Vegas runs about that.

IMHO, you should figure out what you really want in a city i.e. night life, big, small, close to the ocean, hot, cold, conservative, liberal, etc etc. Then look at the prices. Worse comes to worse you do a house share with some other people until you get your feet on the ground.

Kind of off subject but... if you are going to be coming from out of state and going to community college here you are going to be paying through the nose in tuition fees. I would say an average is about $3000 a semester for over 6 units. That may be something you want to think about if you haven't already.
