I hope Arnold leaves this copy on the Governor's desk for when "Rayo De Luna" takes over.

In Chief Executive’s annual survey of best and worst states for business, conducted in late January of this year, 651 CEOs across the U.S. again gave Texas top honors, closely followed by North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. They gave the booby prize for worst state to California, with New York, Michigan, New Jersey and Massachusetts filling out the bottom five-a line-up virtually unchanged from last year. Florida and Georgia each dropped three places in the ranking, but remain in the top 10. Utah jumped six positions this year to sneak into the top 10 at No. 9.

Well, if you're going to be bad you may as well strive for perfection and be the worst! Way to go, California!

Oh, but the economy is picking up. 18Montclair (who loves the way he looks) just reported some very good employment numbers that reflect all the part time seasonal holiday help about to be hired to wrap gifts, ring up sales and wear green pointy hats, curly-toed shoes and candy cane stockings while guiding kids to Santa's lap.

LOL@ Love the way I look.

Well, something tells me that based on a very telling quality of life related ranking, TX's job growth appears to be propped up by unstable positons as well.

I mean, that doesnt wash. They can't be doing that awesome if theyre hoarding Food stamps at the same time.

Furthermore, Surprise, surprise....Captains of Greed don't like California! Not really a shocker.

If we left it up to them, we'd all be deformed mutes who exist only to make them richer.

How is texas "hording"(a real intresting term to use, considering your claims of advocating for the poor) food stamps, all your link showed was an increase. Texas could increase their food stamp usage by 200% and it would likely just be a fraction of our usage.

"Captains of Greed". Is that the name of Sinead O'Connor's latest album?

You're such a commie. But a damn good looking one if you do say so yourself.

Nope. There should be a decline in food stamp usage if they are the number '1' state for CEOs.

But no, that's because we've seen it time and time again. States and are wonderful to CEOs are attractive because they allow these companies to pay low, offer as few benefits as possible and do whatever they please to the environment.

And the fact that many of the states with the biggest growth in food stamp usage are considered "BUSINESS-FRIENDLY" is because that usually also means that said state is "PEOPLE-UNFRIENDLY".

No one really benefits but stockholders and top management.

Meanwhile, states get to think that theyre doing something great by providing their residents with low paying, directionless jobs that offer no future.

Hence, Texas, Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada and the like all have increases in Food Stamp Usage.
