(Nov. 15) -- A California man got thrown out of San Diego's airport when he refused a revealing full-body scan and then an alternative pat-down, telling a Transportation Security Agent, "If you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested."

John Tyner, 31, said he was told he could face a civil lawsuit and a $10,000 fine for leaving the screening area before the security check was complete, according to news reports and his blog.

So you either get irradiated or felt up. Do I get to choose who does the groping?

What did this guy do to warrant such a pat-down? I've flown out of SD countless times and have never seen anything like that before.

He was randomly picked to get scanned. In such an event, you either comply with the scan or you can opt out and go with the pat down.

His comment of "If you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested," is what set off the dispute. A week ago someone a few places ahead of me was randomly picked to get scanned in OAK.

I'll bet that TMZ and other mags already have a price put on scans/photos of famous people. Could a quick buck for TSA screeners.
