Post Commuting from Danville/San Ramon to S.F.

Hello,

I'm thinking about moving from NJ to the Bay area and would like to know what the commute to San Francisco (560 Mission St) would be like if I moved to the Danville/San Ramon area. I think I would drive to the Walnut Creek BART station but I'm not sure about what time you need to get there by to get a parking spot. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

There is a BART station in Dublin near San Ramon. You don't have to drive all the way to the Walnut Creek BART station. The Dublin station which is between the east and westbound lanes of I-580 has plenty of parking on both sides of I-580. I have been able to find parking there in the middle of the day.

My husband and I live in San Ramon and he commutes to San Francisco on BART. He leaves from the Dublin station at about 6:30-7 and gets to work about 45 minutes later. All in all his comute is about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
